The Great Yarmouth & Waveney FNP team has been recognised for their hard work and dedication at the East Coast Community Healthcare’s (ECCH) annual staff awards. The ‘amazingly dedicated and talented’ were awarded the Chairman’s Award by ECCH Chairman, Paul Steward. In his speech about the team, he said, “Every year, new mums tell us how the nurses have really helped them, not just to look after their babies, but to continue their schooling, helping them find accommodation and work.”
A family nurse from the team, Diane Bryant also received the ‘Making a Difference’ award for her commitment to mentoring and supporting young mums. ECCH’s Director of Health Improvement and Children’s Services, Pamala Agapiou said, “If you’re with her in the street, families wave at her like a scene from ‘Call the Midwife’. It demonstrates how much her clients and their families value Diane’s input and how well she is respected.”
Well done to the whole team for all their hard work in their local area. If you would like to find your local FNP team, visit the Contact Us page.
